malcolm x e a revolução negra

desde que vi o filme malcolm x, do spike lee, a figura do ativista negro me intrigou -- pela militância pelos direitos humanos dos irmãos de cor, e pelo fato de ser muçulmano. recentemente, em viagem de trabalho aos estadozunidos, comprei sua autobiografia, ditada ao jornalista alex haley, autor de um livro sobre suas origens africanas, raízes. é esse mesmo que você pensou, o que depois virou minissérie.

o pau comeu solto aqui em casa, porque sou totalmente favorável à política de fazer pressão, mesmo que isso implique em uso de violência (o que não foi o caso, nem aqui, nem com o malcolm x), e a tati, não. o negócio dela é martin luther king. sou um tipo irascível, que acredita que só se consegue peitar o poder pela força. um dia levarei isso para as minhas resoluções pessoais e profissionais, mas isso é outra história.

enfim, o fato é que, depois do livro, saí em busca de mais informações sobre "al-hajj malik al-shabazz", como o malcolm x se auto-intitulou depois da viagem à meca (a tradução do nome seria algo como "peregrino do senhor da terra sagrada").

uma das coisas que achei foi a canção niggers are afraid of revolution, do grupo "the last poets", cuja letra, um rap dos anos 70, com inserções de discurso do líder negro, reproduzo abaixo (é grande, mas foda-se, tomei algumas, e o que importa é o que importa):
